Questions

Senior living FAQ.

What is the difference between 55+ apartments and independent living?+

55+ apartment communities are apartment homes that the community states it operates as housing for older persons; they usually work like a regular lease, without meals or care. Independent living communities usually bundle services such as dining, housekeeping, transportation and activities, and some share a campus with assisted living or memory care.

Who sets the age requirements?+

Each community sets and publishes its own age policy. We list the wording each community uses on its own website, and we confirm the current policy with the community before you tour.

How much does senior living cost?+

Pricing is set by each community and changes with availability. Call or text (713) 357-6339 and we'll confirm today's pricing for the communities you like.

Can you help a family member search?+

Yes. Many searches start with a family member or friend. Tell us the areas, move date and must-haves, and we'll send a shortlist and help set up tours.

Community descriptions are quoted from each community's own website (checked Oct 2026). Age policies, services, pricing and availability are set by each community and can change; we confirm them before you tour. Equal Housing Opportunity.
